. richmond residents looking for some action against chevron oil and this refinery. activists will rally demanding some immediate safety improvements. meantime, richmond city council passing a resolution just last week demanding chevron update all its equipment. it also wants the company to increase its financial support and hiring in that community. just back in august, one of the refinery's pipelines ruptured, releasing all that large vapor and a cloud of smoke. it ignited a big-time fire, releasing toxic fumes throughout the area. hot the last couple of days. christina is here with the forecast. >> it is the hottest stretch of the year so far. i don't think we're going to get any hotter. we're in october and we should be dropping off. fall has arrived. it's going to start to feel like fall as of this weekend. temperatures today will stay kind of warm. 95 in fairfield. 82 in oakland. you'll still touch on the 80s in san francisco for the last day. that fog will roll back in between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and midnight. oh, yeah, it's going to get thick out there. as a result, we'll take
